Streamlining User Experience and Performance for Midas NZ’s Website Transformation

Midas NZ, a well-known and reputable automotive service provider known for their expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair. With 24 branches across NZ, They approached us as their existing website was in dire need of a redesign.

Our primary goal was to completely overhaul the Midas NZ website, creating a seamless, user-friendly experience that reflects their commitment to quality automotive services, remaining on-brand whilst uplifting their presence in the market.

Midas PWA was 70% AI Driven Innovation and 30% human with a focus on enhancing user experience and performance, we embarked on the Midas NZ website redesign journey. 

Progressive Web App (PWA)

The development of a custom Progressive Web App (PWA) architecture significantly boosted performance, and set  the stage for potential mobile app integration. The Services page underwent a simplification process, ensuring easy navigation and providing a clear overview of Midas NZ’s offerings.

We further consolidated the General Repairs section into a dynamic, user-friendly single page, while the Location page underwent a similar transformation for seamless access to information. Our team meticulously crafted a fully custom-designed platform that mirrors Midas NZ’s unique identity. To facilitate easy updates, we integrated a Content Management System (CMS).

In close collaboration with Midas NZ, we reoriented our design approach towards a family-oriented audience, resulting in a warm dealership-style website. We introduced a harmonious blend of light and dark themes for an engaging visual experience. 

Massive Page-Count reduction

Through careful restructuring, we condensed the website from 66 pages to 21 achieving a more intuitive, user-friendly format, ensuring swift access to essential information.

SEO Optimization

The website optimization implemented will allow it to be well-favored by the Google algorithm, resulting in improved rankings in search engine pages.
